I was just thinking that Brooks, Chase, Blackwood and Dowrich all have the ability to imitate limpets and straight away one of them falls :D

Hurrah!

Maybe the selectors will claim they wanted to "incentivise " him for this match :)

Ten over spell has drawn heavily on the incentivising ploy.

Blackwood not letting the scorecard limit him...

Couple of lofted drives for four. Don't think England will mind that.

But I guess that is the way he feels comfortable playing. So probably reckons he's better off putting a bit back on the bowler rather than just sitting in waiting for one that keeps low...

Might be rest time for Broad soon though - much as he won't want to come off !

A good hour for West Indies :clap

Opening bowlers gone for now. Not much from Bess so far...and Curran wasn't finding a lot of movement. If these two can get to tea , England really will have cause to regret that missed review !

Stokes time...

Interesting if these two do get to tea. It would give the draw a chance. Long last session though.

WI put too much pressure on themselves with their top order. Same with England I guess.

Long last session indeed. But if these two are still together at tea , some tired bowlers may be starting to wonder what they can do to change things.
Bit more batting to come so think England really need a bit of magic from somewhere fairly soon. Not sure where it's coming from. This game is starting to look eerily like the last day of the first match...except that this time West Indies only need to stay in , albeit they can't win.

I cant quite work this approach out from Windies. Sudden spate of bondaries including one that nearly went to a fielder in the deep. Done the hard work, just block out the session now

England pace bowlershave been bowling some long spells in this game. Need something happening for the spinner.

Still, a few overs with a new ball at the end is bound to make an impact, if there is anyone standing to bowl with it.

Well done to Brooks and Blackwood.
