far too many of these going on atm at a time when tests are struggling to maintain their place against white ball ball cricket

It just seems that some teams can not cope with conditions that are foreign to them.

Almost every team in international cricket at present are strong at home, but poor away.

SL bowled out for 110 in just 43 overs, SA have a lead of 282 and yet they are not enforcing the follow-on

basically means we get a couple of days of meaningless cricket as SA pad their lead and let the bowlers have a rest

kinda feels at times we are seeing test cricket turn into an exhibition of skills rather than a sporting contest

A great way to build stats.

SL lost their 10 wickets for 79 runs. The best partnership was the opening one. SA would have been comfortable going for the innings victory. It just seems the way now that the best thing to do is not enforce the follow on. Protect the bowlers.

Lakmal is the only Sri Lankan enjoying himself. He has four wickets so far.

South Africa declare seven down. The target is an unlikely 500.

I hope im wrong but i think Amla is in trouble here...he will get a long run because its Amla, and because his record is very good...however AB will come back in, and everyone else is scoring runs, or at least more than Amla...Could well be looking over his shoulder...im a huge fan of his, but he does look in trouble here..

Well done on win for SA, huge blow to lose Abbott IMO....With Steyn all but finished due to too many injuries likely to take their toll, and Morkel declining as well..an attack of Philander, Rabada and Abbott, would cause huge problems to sides around the world

Uncapped Olivier seems to be favourite along with Parnell.
