Maybe he'll walk off at 20 overs.

Well the Indians have dropped him again, so he will probably make a 100.

Has he made more than 10 runs this summer without the aid of crap fielding? If Indians could catch the ball when offered, he be averaging single figures.

I want to copy Jos Buttler's lottery numbers, another proper edge, misses the fielder. Hes all over the place

He's been scoring abundantly through slips and gully in this series. Been driving against the swing a lot. Which they all do (especially Pope and Buttler). Stokes has looked the best. But, easier to come in later.

21 for Buttler. At a good rate though.

Maybe Joe should have had a bowl?

The worry for England though is that Butler is not their main batting problem.

I am struggling to think of a worse top order for England in the last 20 years.

Seeing such a phenomenal pace attack play against such a weak batting line up is galling.

Indian over rate seems even worse than Englands of late.

Even the one John Crawley was in was better. And they played against Warne and McGrath.

Twenty-four overs before lunch.

Fight back from Mo and Sam Curran though. Another run and that's the 50 partnership.

Jennings has to score runs in the second innings otherwise he is surely gone

Clearly not a test player on what he has shown

Since his debut hundred his average can't be much higher than 15

39 overs still to be bowled so India could only be a few behind at the close

Surely this is the worst batting line up we have ever had

Root had been papering over the cracks for 3 or 4 years but now with him not scoring any runs 200 seems a hard score for us to get to
