For the warmups, this has been standard for years. The PM's XI has become a joke game. Once upon a time it was effectively Australia A. Now it's made up of under 21s and players who can't make their state/BBL first XI. Pathetic.

yeah not sure pakistan have the same depth in their batting that australia do to be able to recover from losing these early wickets

[Billy's a bit of a throwback. Sounds like someone you'd see on a scorecard from the Victor Trumper era. Why not Ethan, Nathan, Kyle or Kane? Maybe CA is now renaming its players so they'll look more traditional on a commemorative tea towel.

Those new-fangled names are fine (or not) for your city lads, but our young Billy looks like a country lad, so he needs a country lad name.
