yep can only remember one game ever in my life where the pitch suited pacers and that was in nagpur when they watered the pitched, left grass and basically wanted Australia to win just to screw BCCI and Ganguly.
Ganguly was livid at the time, massive moment since Australia won the series and were leading 2-0 with 1 to play.
Although wasn't a good game for ganguly since people did accuse for missing the game because of the green top.

Took a gloss over a good series as well would have been better if rain didn't affect Chennai and Nagpur was a fair pitch.
2004 was a poor series really because of two awful pitches and rain only the first test and Chennai were played on a good pitch.
although it is famous for Australia finally winning in India.
Basically
1) Every time India wins, the toss is irrelvant.
2) Every time the opposition wins, its either because of the pitch, rain, weather, toss, etc.
3) Any series not won by BCCI is poor and useless.
Why take so much effort and fight all the time when all you want to say can be summed up in 3 points? Imaging arguing that the toss was not important in this Test especially after how badly your boys struggled in the 4th innings in the last Test or even in the 3rd innings here or the last time they batted 2nd before this series (Galle). I could understand this argument for a team like Australia (as much as it pains me to say ) who are completely useless in these conditions, or a team like WI or NZ who are just not that good in general. But England have shown clearly in this series that they are no mugs, they can clearly score runs unless its an absolute bunsen. Why is it so hard to believe that they could've put a big total on the board had they batted first when they had just scored 537 in the last Test? Sure, this pitch is more spin friendly but England batted well even on Day 4 & 5 at Rajkot when they could well have imploded (ala Adelaide 2006) when the ball was definitely turning as evidencing by your batsmen struggling terribly immediately thereafter against the unheralded England spinners (as opposed to your magicians). And given how your batsmen struggled in the 3rd innings on this pitch despite a first innings lead of over 200 and how they lost 6 wickets within 49 overs on Day 5 in the last Test and got bowled out for 100 the last time they had to chase in the 4th innings before this series, is it really ridiculous to suggest that batting 4th on this pitch had they lost the toss would not have been their cup of tea? And given how close this series has been so far, I don't think you can make an argument that India would've won the match in the first innings itself by taking a huge lead. And despite all these factors against them, England are still fighting hard and are in with a chance to save this Test. But obviously, the opposition is always dirt and BCCI have a divine right to win each and every Test and they are so far ahead of the universe that no mitigating circumstances could occur.
