For some reason England haven't yet announced a serious injury to Ravi so they can replace him with Stokes.

It's getting perilously close to the start of the tournament.

Unless the injury happens in the warm up games to make it look more convincing.

Would still leave us with 2 spare batsmen sitting on the bench. Can't understand why the poor make up of the squad balance (no pun intended) hasn't had more coverage in the mainstream media.

I think the mainstream media were so shocked when Cook got the axe they were unable to process anything else.

TBH most sides barring Australia have probably picked the wrong balance of the squad especially concerning the 4 bench picks.

With Clarke & Faulkner still recovering from injuries, my Oz XI for Saturday against England;

Dave Warner
Aaron Finch
Steve Smith
George Bailey
Glenn Maxwell
Mitch Marsh
Brad Haddin
Mitch Johnson
Mitch Starc
Pat Cummins
Xavier Doherty

And if we bat first, we'll make 400!

I think it may be a low scoring affair, whoever bats first.

The only time I've been to the MCG India beat the Aussies by 5 wickets in a low scoring game. Hayden, Gilchrist, Ponting, Clarke, Hussey, Symonds, Haddin, Johnson, Lee, Bracken, Clark the Aussie line-up I think.

Ishant was MoM with 4 wickets.

Aussies all out 159 with Hussey typically 65 not out. Sachin made 44 and R Sharma 39 not out to see the Indians home.

4 catches by Dhoni and 2 at slip by Sachin suggests a fair bit of movement.

Be nice if England could do the same.
