I presumed his knee's were giving him problems. He doesn't have any cartilage in either does he?

Oh, I had no idea. I knew he had problems, but not the specific details.

He should get some replacements, there are some pretty good knee Doctors here in Utah. Even Tiger came here for his knee operations.

He'll probably end up playing in the first test and take a haul of wickets.

Wow who wants to be a bowler at Essex? All the batsmens way today. Oz scored 120 from 21 overs and now Essex 120 from 28 overs.

So is this going to be any hint of what the curators will prepare all summer? Assure a draw for every test match in hope England might sneak one.

780 runs in 160 overs, they are surely heading for a first class aggregate total record by the end of this match if it continues like this.

Maybe not, "The highest aggregate in a first-class match (both sides) was 2376, Maharashtra v Bombay at Poona, 1948–49"

Rains not going to help the cause.

It will help the Aussie bowlers, but that's about it.

Lyon - 19 overs 0/110
Fawad - 26.2 overs 4/156

Maybe Australia should go with 4 quicks...

Smith got some wickets in the first tour game, perhaps he can just carry Australia for batting and bowling?
