I was surprised to see Rashid in the team so not getting to bowl was a good choice.

Yep especially on a pitch that looks tricky to bat on.
although agree with Rich 160 looks about par, but india could win with 145 total if England decide to chase this in 12-13 overs.

As bhaves says , this pitch may not be ideal for fast scoring. Even so , England should fancy this.

Good bowling effort all round. Rashid surplus to requirements today ; but I don't read too much into that. The attack available today had plenty of variety , including Rashid. But as it happened , they had things under control pretty much throughout - no need to risk a bowler who might indeed take wickets , but might also concede a lot of runs. Another day things may be completely different.

Certainly not writing off India yet but I imagine the odds are against them after that...
