WICB Pres XI captain Leon Johnson wins the toss and elects to bat. Dawes and Imran Khan miss out on their XI

WIPXI XI - Johnson, Brathwaite, Brooks, Chandrika, Chase, Cummins, Dowrich, Mindley, Mohammed, Theophile, Warrican

Maybe two players from this XI will make the Test squad to replace Shiv....

Looks like a significantly more sensible side than was put out against England.

After that shaky start, half-centuries by Raj Chandrika, Shane Dowrich and Roston Chase, and an unbeaten 42 from Jason Mohammed, have helped the President's XI to reply strongly with 288-5.

It is possible that Chandrika will be added to the Test squad as an opening batsman, and Shai Hope dropped down the order, where he bats for Barbados. It is also possible that one of Chase, Dowrich or Mohammed may be added to the Test squad as another middle-order batsman option.

Looks like a very even bowling effort from the Aus bowlers. Nothing exceptional.

At the end of the second day, the game was still quite even...the Aussies closed at 205-6, Shaun Marsh making 118 not out, and Adam Voges 52, but everyone else was out cheaply to spinner Jomel Warrican (3-69) and medium-pacer Carlos Brathwaite (2-28).

The match ends in a draw, after the President's XI had a top order collapse, losing Chandrika, Johnson and Brooks for ducks, and Theophile for 26. Unbeaten 50s from Shane Dowrich and Roston Chase seal the issue, while Josh Hazlewood bowled four overs, 3-4.
