Clearly they only thought of it several overs ago and then let loose somewhat. That part of it is a tad strange. Thought they would have had a plan all day. I just hope they are giving enough respect to this Windes team.

A different team, but i seem to remember Windies team chasing down some big totals against Australia.

But already 1 down.

Who am I to question Clark's captaincy, but I would have brought on the more experienced Johnson to bowl with Starc. He relishes these situations.

Should Aus ask for the extra 30 minutes tonight?

Really caught the windies off guard. Good positive cricket from Clarke :clap

Clarke needs to be careful not to dent Johnson's confidence too much as he does tend to get down pretty easily.

Kraig averaged 21 in five tests this season...at least Devon averaged 23.

the less said about the test average of Chandrika the better....

Can't believe that was going over the stumps. Does it even take into account it is a slow delivery and the ball will begin to drop?

Yep Mark it says the trajectory of the ball just goes up, and up, and up. It don't come down never, Newton doesn't apply.

Newton invented gravity Mark, it did exist before he came along.

That looked a strange declaration at the time.

Obviously doesn't expect WIs to get the runs (which they wont) but with so much time left in the game the modern way tends to get in a position where you can't lose first.

It would be good entertainment if WIs can find a tough partnership or two to give the Aussies a scar but it looks like Starc has ripped the heart out of them already.
