Australia name their 15 man squad later today. I'm expecting to see the following;
Michael Clarke (c)
George Bailey (vc)
Dave Warner
Aaron Finch
Steve Smith
Glenn Maxwell
Shane Watson
Mitchell Marsh
James Faulkner
Brad Haddin
Mitchell Johnson
Josh Hazlewood
Pat Cummins
Mitchell Starc
Glenn Maxwell and Pat Cummins should consider themselves lucky, with Cameron White and Nathan Coulter-Nile unlucky. I couldn't see the selectors going for someone who hasn't played any ODI's, so Jason Behrendorff & Ben Dunk miss out, but keep an eye out for both of them in future ODIs. There was talk of Ryan Harris getting a gig, but I reckon he's knackered.

We wont even get out of this group the way we've been playing recently.

Sort of a mini group between Afghanistan, England and Scotland?

A league and then quarters. First in one group plays fourth in the other.

We play six games, then go home.
Nah, I think we'll do ok. Not bothered where we finish, as long as it's top four, of course. Once in the QF's, you'll have to play well from then on.

England have to make sure that they don't do something stupid like lose to Bang, or find themselves needing to beat Scotland only to have the match rained off.
England should progress, but I would not be shocked or even surprised if they didn't.
the 2 group initial phase helps them greatly. having 4 small groups like in the WT20 in 2010 can cause DL problems (Having already had DL gift WI the win, If England hadn't managed to get back on the field after a rain delay in the Ireland game they would have gone home early, instead of winning the whole damn thing in 2010)

I suppose it's too late to bring Andy Flower back in the main coaching role.

The Oz squad has been announced. No surprises. The selectors have given Clarke until Feb 21 to prove his fitness, otherwise he's out. I have a hnch that Mitchell Marsh might also struggle to prove his fitness, but I hope I'm wrong. If Clakre needs to be replaced, it will be with either Adam Voges or Cameron White.

I would think Cameron White would come into the team. Good season so far, and would offer good support to smith if Clarke is not playing.

Good for a semi final place maybe.
