Ajmal has been cleared to bowl in international cricket. Wouldn't be remotely surprised if one of the Pakistan WC squad suddenly picked up an injury, in the next week.

The Big Chill has been ruled out of India's World Cup squad.

and Misbah has admitted that there are some injury concerns in the pakistan squad, most notably to Hafeez who is still baned from bowling, and can't be re-tested because of a foot niggle.

Arthur Crabtree wrote:Jason Holder says he would like Bravo and Pollard in his squad.

'West Indies captain Jason Holder has admitted that the absence of Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo is a "huge loss" to West Indies' chances at the World Cup. Holder described the decision not to select the pair as "beyond my control" and, in an indication that he did not agree with their dropping, pointed out "I'm not a selector." Holder became the youngest captain in West Indies' history when appointed, aged just 23, in the aftermath of the players' strike that saw the team abandon their tour of India. While the chairman of selectors, Clive Lloyd, has insisted that neither Pollard nor Brave were omitted for disciplinary reasons or out of any sense of vengeance, it is clear that Holder feels that, on ability, they should be in his team. "They are two players who have done well in world cricket," Holder said. "But it's out of our control. Not having them would be a huge loss to any side. But it's beyond our control and we have to accept it and move on." Holder's authority as captain was further undermined when, during the media conference, the team's press officer took the unusual step of calling a halt to proceedings and demanding journalists ask no more questions about Chris Gayle. If the intention was to avoid any uncomfortable questions, it succeeded only in making Holder appear like a young man who needed shielding.'

lol at picking Shami also the reasoning behind it is funny.
When you think about the qualities of an Indian cricket team, brilliant batting and sparkling spin often come to mind but, in Shami, the reigning world champions have a huge pace-bowling threat. No-one took more wickets in ODIs in 2014 than the Bengali bowler – his 38 was only matched by Sri Lanka star Ajantha Mendis – with the 24-year-old taking four scalps in an innings on four occasions. Shami is not just a flat-track bully either as he shone in England and New Zealand as well as at home. The right-arm quick will be a dangerous proposition in his debut World Cup.

For one Shami probably been lucky to take those wickets he been getting crappier every game he plays, he literally can't bowl one tight over without bowling one or two bad balls an over.
Secondly first time ever I seen anyone suggest taking wicket in india or flat track is a bad thing, never seen anyone call a bowler a flat track bully before, doesn't it make him more better if he takes wickets in india instead of new zealand or england. :hmmm

Thirdly not sure why anyone would pick Shami to shine, if I was to pick one bowler to shine for India it probably would be Mohit Sharma or Yadav if he get is length and line right.
Mohit sharma probably india best pace bowler right now in the squad, BK probably need a bit more pace and greener wickets to be a threat.
TBH I wouldn't really pick any indian bowler to shine in this world cup especially with Ishant Sharma out of the world cup.

Yeah I know not sure if the writer being serious or making a joke.
Only posted it because of that phrase wouldn't have bother otherwise just thought it was funny someone being criticized for doing well in places batsman/teams score 330+ for fun.

Might actually use that phase more often now when bowlers do well in india or Sub C.
Steyn probably the biggest flat track bully ever :lmao
