I'm excited for BD. Clearly, they are just there to make India look good. The duelist scripted to tumble down the castle staircase in the last scene of a story of brave knights. But they have made a good account of themselves and I hope they perish bravely.

Might there be problems for Bangladesh if they had the temerity to knock their giant neighbours out of the WC? Not the cricket team but the nation who probably depend on India for trade.

I have a feeling that in at least one of the remaining games a side will bat first and make a modest score only for the chasing side to make a hash of the run chase. A statement of the obvious because that's hardly an unusual scenario but the pressure of a run chase in a knock out game could well lead to an upset.

I'd reckon Australia Pakistan and NZ/WI could both throw up that scenario. More likely that this game.

Yes, England made the Bangladesh bowlers look like world beaters but they probably couldn't defend an average total against India.

I can't help but feel that there is going to be at least one big partnership to get India to a defendable total - if not even a match-winning. These two, or one of them and Dhoni.

Still, they are running the risk of putting a lot of mental pressure on themselves, and stuffing up accordingly.

yes, I think they'll be looking for well over 250, but there is moire downside risk now as well. 11 off the 32nd over, hopefully that will get them going
