4 weeks of messing around to get down to three teams which were always going to make the semis plus one other (barring SA meeting Oz or NZ in the quarters that is). I said a while back they should have just had a tri series between SA, Oz and NZ to decide the World Champs, and saved alot of hassle.

Although India are not to be discounted - at least until after Thursday's gaame.

I can envisage a ODI double ton by an England player-one of the bowlers should manage it before long!

Never rated Guptill before but that knock is simply incredible! Can't wait for the highlights.

I certainly didn't see it all - basically him bringing up his (first) hundred, and then on. Best one day innings I have ever seen. Just pure quality cricket shots.

Just seen it. Some lovely shots - love how still he stays and hits so cleanly through the line of the ball. Just as good as an innovative De Villiers innings.

well done to NZ, and fantastic knock from Guptill!!! Fair play to windies with the bat gave it a go, went along at a great rate, but were always going to struggle to get close...however i think they have done better in this comp, than what was expected given the state they were in before the comp started....have done ok.
