Sammy is continuing where Gayle left off. Russell and Holder can swing a bat too. 394 is still a long way off, but NZ won't rest easy yet.

THat is so true....Gayle out for 61, and the other batsmen can't even get close to that.

That's that, after the Windies briefly threatened.

8 wickets down after 25 overs but they're still going at 8 an over. Amazing that even the number 9 can hit boundaries. But they can't seem to stick around.

THey're applying T20 cricket to the 50-overs game...nine down in the 30th over. Make that 250 all out in 30 overs.

393 proved too much. Well played New Zealand, on reaching the semi's. Hard to call who's going to win that one.

Never rated Guptill before but that knock is simply incredible! Can't wait for the highlights.

Guptill's star has been on the rise just as McMullan's has faded. I used to pick Guptill for my FL teams in the past but he was a flop so gave up on him.

Agreed. Very tough pick. One of SA or NZ will contest their first final, and the other semi is between two of the three most successful teams in world cup history. Quite the contrast.

I certainly didn't see it all - basically him bringing up his (first) hundred, and then on. Best one day innings I have ever seen. Just pure quality cricket shots.

Just got on the internet to find a result to another one sided QF.

Sounds like an amazing innings from Guptill :clap

Heres hoping the next 3 games can produce some memorable games of cricket.

4 weeks of messing around to get down to three teams which were always going to make the semis plus one other (barring SA meeting Oz or NZ in the quarters that is). I said a while back they should have just had a tri series between SA, Oz and NZ to decide the World Champs, and saved alot of hassle.
