Can't say they are familiar. Is that a recognisable Leeward Island's team?

The Leewards team finished sixth and last in the PCL, and this St Kitts-Nevis team has only about six players who played for the Leewards this season:
http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine ... tournamentSo, this is quite a weak team....
I don't know why the WICB didn't at least schedule the A team to play one of the matches.

The papers keep saying, a Graves did, that the IPL absentees will really weaken the WI side. But Pollard is nowhere near a Test place. Gayle at least arguably has a question mark over him. Sammy has many detractors. Even Bravo is more of a limited overs pick. Will the IPL take a lot away from the WI side?
Some players are being talked up to suit the narrative. Including Simmons.

Narine? Question over his action. Started poorly in tests, but admittedly, he's done better lately. He might be missed.

Quite right, Arthur...these players have been missing from the Test side for a while now, including Simmons and Dwayne Smith.
Here is the XI that turned out in the last Test in South Africa:
1) Kraigg Brathwaite
2) Devon Smith
3) Leon Johnson
4) Marlon Samuels
5) Shiv Chanderpaul
6) Jermaine Blackwood
7) Denesh Ramdin
8) Jason Holder
9) Jerome Taylor
10) Suleimann Benn
11) Shannon Gabriel
No IPL players there....
http://www.espncricinfo.com/south-afric ... 22333.htmlIt is true that this Test side is weak, but it's been weak for a while, since the IPL players have been shying away from this format for a while now.

Twelve player team. The test team with one out of Rashid or Jordan to make way?

The news is that St Kitts-Nevis have won the toss and elected to bat.
The St Kitts-Nevis 11: Taylor, Liburd, Jeffers, S Peters, J Peters, S Berridge, E Berridge, Boatswain, Powell, Saunders, Louis,
England on the other hand have opted for Cook, Trott, Balance, Bell, Root, Stokes, Butler, Rashid, Jordan, Broad, Tredwell, Anderson
