I think most people deep down are still behind the team when they are losing but we don't tend to show it by the amount of criticism we throw at them.

As you say a lot of people who don't really follow cricket will come out the woodwork if we beat Australia 5-0 this summer, same down here at Bournemouth, people I know who hate football are suddenly AFCB fans. You can't really blame them, and I think its a good thing, a bit of positivity running through a town or country for a change, and thats coming from an eternal pessimist.

Ironically, the two players who most represent teams in Franchise T20 cricket are deemed not pickable. Bairstow batted at 4 instead of a guy who averages 20 runs more than him, at 25 runs per 100 balls quicker, and was once the player of tournament in the only limited overs tournament England have won.

Not sure many teams would pick Bairstow over Luke Wright or KP

I left the game at a crucial stage thinking we'd lost that one.

Not expecting the same sort of sportsmanship between the teams which is a shame for me.

It's highly unlikely Australia will have to sledge unless there is a danger of going to a 4th or 5th day of a test match.

So they'll sledge if it rains?

Ha,ha, they are probably already sledging in their hotel rooms.

Yes and if you beat Australia 5-0 this summer it's fair to say that you won't see too many Aussie fans on here so I guess it does work both ways.

Mark made a bit of a generalisation there with that earlier statement. :slap
