Steven Crook ( an Australian with a UK passport) inflicting more misery on the hapless tourists-currently 119 not out from 84 balls batting at number 7! 367/9

Interesting first day. A bit mixed for the Oz bowlers. Mitch Marsh and Pat Cummins will be happy. Not a good day for Fawad Ahmed. And Shaun Marsh is auditioning for Chris Rogers' spot.
"Hey, doll. Could you scare up another round for our table over here? And tell the cook this is low grade dog food. I've had better food at the ballgame, you know? This steak still has marks from where the jockey was hitting it." Al Czervik, aka Rodney Dangerfield in "Caddyshack" (1980)

This match was probably the last thing they needed-really bad timing so not sure if it will have any impact on the last test.
It will be interesting if the Australians can just play with freedom at the Oval. I think most people will be hoping Clarke can finish his career on a high note.

Most people will be hoping for Clarke to what?

I'd like to see him get a century. Would be a shame if his final tour was a total disaster given the great career he has had.

I have a soft spot for Watson and his LBW issue which has once again seen his demise today.
