Looking at who's taken the wickets, maybe Australia are a spinner light.
I always say that everybody's right.

Ashton Agar will be in the team for the second match.

Kohli playing for India A, a tad strange.

Kohli told selectors he wanted F/C game before the tour of Sri lanka.

This is the only F/C game available for him before it.

Sandhu decided to bowl some off spin today and took 3 wickets in 3 overs!

Impressive.

He also bowled a bit of spin in the first innings. Didn't know he could - with any effectiveness, at least. Makes him that much more interesting, from a selection viewpoint.

I've seen a little bit of Gurinder Sandhu, and he looks a decent player. He seems to have done very well for NSW. I was a little surprised that he was selected in the ODI just before the World Cup, ahead of Jason Behrendorff. It's good that the selectors have given him and others a run in this series, but this is hardly our second XI. We really should be taking part in a 5 match series against England A when the Ashes are on, with matches played at grounds that missed out of hosting a Test match.

India A will play Australia A tomorrow instead of South Africa A as 8 South Africans have been hospitalised with food poisoning.

I see that India A got up in the final, spinning their way to victory. A bit of a disappointing end of the tour for Australia a, and a disappointing one for Chris Lynn, it has to be said. I've got this fella earmarked for greatness, but he won't get anywhere near an Oz team with his current form.
