Not sure anyone can break into the Aussie side after that performance, but good for those on the sidelines to get a game. Not sure if Braddin is available.

Warner/Marsh/Clarke/Voges/Watson/Marsh/Nevill/Siddle/Lyon/Cummins/Ahmed.

If Footitt gets a game then that could be an interesting thing to keep an eye on

Think so, he was training with the squad yesterday. Consensus seems to be that he will play in the next test.

I think a solid 150 for Warner would have been a more sensible score to retire on for me, needs to be in the middle for longer. Clarke always has other ideas of course. He probably should have opened if he was so anxious to get to the middle.

Maybe he shouldn't be so anxious.

Clarke's form may be the only glimmer of hope England have at the moment.

Shaun Marsh with a useful half-century so far...could he come in for Rogers, if he's not well enough to play?

Mitchell Marsh coming in before Watson. Is Watson now just on tour to fill in the gaps?

He's the 2005 Brad Hodge from here on in. Plays the tour games, no realistic chance of getting a test place barring major injury crisis it would seem.

Yes it can't be a whole lot of fun being in that situation. Probably just wants to go home.

A century for Shaun, and half-century for Mitch, and Watson chips in with one too....
