Bit of a collapse for India against an unfamiliar attack in the warm up. No runs for Kohli. India could end up being ranked seventh at the end of this series.

A century for Rahane, and runs for Dhawan, 40s from Rahul and Pujara, but not much else....

That said, SL are in a bit of a decline, with Sanga and Mahela hanging up their hats, so....

weirdly I think india will be on the up.
Shanky will attack me but think all the young/inexperinaced player will be better players after the tough away tours last year in SA, NZ, Eng and Australia.
Plus vast majority of the cricket in the next 2 years is at subcontinent.

Has a good record over the past two years. He'd be in my current world XI.

Averages for openers over last two years.

bit disappointing this isn't being shown on SKY

maybe just me but we don't seem to get as many bilateral series where England isn't involved as we did a few years ago

Sky never covered cricket from Sri Lanka and Pakistan mainly because sky kind of as a agreement with the Asian channel.
By the way Sony Sab got free 1 hour highlights in the evening.

But yes sky now shows less their loss bangadesh and Zimbabwe In recent times.

Don't really show much cricket from nz either even though they got rights.
