If Australia i would bring in Marsh for Voges, and would put Marsh at 1st drop thus meaning Smith and Clarke drop down a place.

Other than that i really can not see anything else to change.

Just the mindset when playing on a wicket that assists the bowler a little.

surprised so much is made of Ashes bully haddin dropping.

not sure him missing a test for personal reason means he should get one more game.
Warne, Hayden, ponting suggestion sound so stupid play one more game and then drop him.

The cold facts are that Haddin been terrible for two years and only scores against England and one other team.

Agreed, feel that someone needs to point this out to Starc.

I think the view is that you shouldn't lose your place for a family issue. But of course, who is considered best on merit can change once you miss the game.

exactly Haddin didn't get dropped because he missed a game, he got dropped because nevill is seen as a better candidate.
Only reason Haddin played in the first place was because he wanted to win the Ashes in england and the fact he got a good record against england.

Before this happened, his place was in question. Not sure he might not have been dropped anyway for the second test.

Nevilles glove work in the 3rd test was not meant to be the best, though heard it was no worse than Haddins.

TBH haddin not really a great keeper, saying that not sure many countries even have top keepers playing any more, far too many teams pick better batsman to keep.

Even counties are picking better batsman over better keepers now.

I followed most of it on the radio, but they said his keeping was ok. Braddin let a lot of byes through in the first game, but the bowling was a little wild. He missed Root of course.

in keeping terms not sure their much difference between both.

Haddin is probably more likely to concede more byes/drop catches.

Neville's 50 in the last test probably proved his selection was right. Though he did ride his luck a bit.

I thought Haddin was lucky to keep his place in the team before the ashes, so have no problem with him being dropped. His form was not good enough to keep his place.

I'd be shocked if Footitt plays.

I saw Stoneman and Rushworth being talked up in the press.

I heard that Durham fans were bribing some members if the journalistic corps.

I was all for having Haddin dropped before I found out about his family issues which likely contributed to some poor keeping. I'll be the first to say I got that wrong.

Coming back he should not have lost his place and that's a given.

The sport can never be bigger than life and when that happens you've lost touch with reality. Of course fans are only in touch with reality as long as a W stands next to their team's last performance.
