England have a great chance of qualifying

Especially if rashid bowls like he did in the big bash

We certainly have the power in our batting

The venue is against them. Given England's calamitous record in overseas knock outs. Especially in Asia.

topley ahead of jordan and that would be my side

jordan is bloody awful and i think topleys cutters will be more effective than jordans patented mix of fullies and long hops

Any takers on tomorrow's England squad?

My guess it'll be

Roy/Hales/Vince/Root/Buttler/Morgan/Stokes/Moeen/Billings/Willey/Woakes/Jordan/Finn/Rashid/Topley.

But for India, I'd like to consider KP, Patel and Bopara.

That squad looks about right although i'd like to see Plunkett and Parry for Woakes and Jordan.

I guess if they take three spinners, Parry will go. I guess Samit isn't completely out of the frame anymore, but he wasn't in the Lions squad in UAE. Maybe that gives Dawson a chance.

Get in!

No Woakes. Is he injured? He's gone from being a key team member to being left out of the squad. Jordan stays. Good to take another spinner, but I'd have Samit, and surprising it's not Parry.

England squad for the World T20 in India Eoin Morgan (Middlesex, capt), Moeen Ali (Worcestershire), Sam Billings (Kent), Jos Buttler (Lancashire), Liam Dawson (Hampshire), Steven Finn (Middlesex), Alex Hales (Nottinghamshire), Chris Jordan (Sussex), Adil Rashid (Yorkshire), Joe Root (Yorkshire), Jason Roy (Surrey), Ben Stokes (Durham), Reece Topley (Hampshire), James Vince (Hampshire), David Willey (Yorkshire)

Econs since the last WC. Plunkett has the best, then Gurney. The worst, Jordan. Admittedly the games are few. Plunkett has 6 wickets in 8 overs too, at a SR only the injured Wood can better.

T20 Blast: Parry 25 wickets, Dawson 0...

Saying that I don't think it's a bad selection.

Jordan over Plunkett though. Hmm...

Cheers for the tweet Pietersen.

Fair enough announce your surprise at Wright's exclusion, but not at the expense of Vince, who deserves his place after recent performances.

Mind you you couldn't sink lower in my estimation peanut, so all's good.
