Before coming to UAE, Billings had 1 fifty in 51 T20 games. On this tour he's got 3 in 8.

Malan had a very impressive series, much better than Vince. Could Malan take his place in the World T20 squad?

He will make the preliminary squad now, Dawson may too. Not sure beyond that. Depending on how many pace bowlers England want to take, there may only be one reserve batting slot between Vince, Billings and Malan. I'd go Billings.

England and Warwickshire.

Also tend to follow any former/current/prospective England players.

Win for England; but a lot being made of Fawad Alam. could he not do a job in Pakistan middle order?

Fantastic performance from the Lions thus far and really serves to underline the talent that is out there in English cricket, now if only we could find a spinner!

Some interesting prospective inclusions to future England squalls here.

Whitely and Clarke good talents but very raw.

Vince and Billings I expect to see in the T20 World Cup side whilst Malan and Dawson are on the periphery.

Tom Curran only one likely to push into Test side ever.

Disagree, Vince has a solid first class record and has stood up to the pressures of international bowling thus far. Can easily see him in the Test squad in the next season or two.

Average of 27 in the 1st division last year. Wouldn’t write him off but he surely
needs to prove himself in Div1 before he is given serious consideration.

Strong start for the Lions, with Vince in the runs again.

Loss today keeps series alive. In a way will be good to see what these guys nerves are like.
