I'd drop Lynn for one of those two.

Lynn does have the problem with spin/slow bowling, but I see him as a far more stable and long term, multi-format player than Head. I don't see why Maxwell wasn't playing (was it still his knee?), but I would swap Head and Maxwell. Maxwell brings skills in all three parts of the game.

In reality, the player/s who are in line to make way for Khawaja would be Finch or Smith. Both there purely for batting abilities (we are not really going to count Finch's bowling, are we?), although Smith is great in the field and Usman is decidedly not. This is a big factor in T20.

Probably just a press generated kerfuffle, but regarding Steve Smith's complaint about Kohli's send off- aren't you supposed to leave this sort of thing on the pitch?

bit ironic complaining from them considering what they do to other sides.
Anyway I believe Smith has more complains for the Channel 9 then Kohli send off.
Basically Smith was being distracted while batting because he had to commentate while batting for Channel 9 and Kohli saw this and so started sledging Smith when he got out, by basically saying you should shut your gob maybe you wouldn't be out right now.

anyway it would be hypocritical for Smith to say anything about Kohli considering Haddin, Starc and aussie bowlers generally give send offs.

Anyway the good news is that ICC starting to get strict on Sledging.
Pandya got a warning for his celebration after removing Lynn.
I have no complaint with him getting a fine, if anything him getting a fine is a good thing since in the past icc would have overlooked that.

Kohli shouldn't really get a fine or warning considering it was actually smart sledging and he didn't actually break the rules didn't sware or say anything that could cause offence.
Sound more like Smith has issues with the way Channel 9 disrupted the game.

true but he did sound annoyed when nicholas kept on asking him question while he was batting, Smith looked quite distracted and annoyed by that in the middle.

Another easy win for India... I am actually surprised how easily we are beating Aus in Aus.
Kohli with a masterclass again... and Ashwin has found his mojo... Also good to see Yuvi roll his golden arm :)

Ashish Nehra!

And with Tait, Harbhajan and Yuvraj back, this has the feel of a masters series.

Any chance of getting Irfan Pathan back?

Aus batting first put up nearly 200. Watto making the most of a drop from Kohli and missed run outs to post a 100

Ind bring up 100-1 after 9.4 overs

only problem for Ind is that none of the batters after these 2 have had much batting

also Ind are slowing down a bot here which is not good - just 10 off the last 2 overs

I think they were celebrating the whitewash rather than just this win

also, that was a pretty big chase

It was a very good chase. Aus were under the kosh from the word go, where it was more likely India to be pressured. India's top 3 are in awesome form, and Dhoni used the opportunity to give Yuvi a bit of practice in a pressured situation, which he came through no problems. Raina showed he needed no opportunity.
