Something out of club cricket is this ODI
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott

Not to take anything away from either teams but an 117 run victory is what you would expect from a Test team playing an Associate.

I think it shows the state of these two teams when people are surprised by the margin of victory in this game.

Moor and Chibhabha hit 50s...Zimbabwe rattle up 226 all out.

That could be enough....

Even when Zimbabwe win they have a batting collapse to worry about somewhere down the line.

Chibaba won it for them today.

I worry about Raza's place in the side. 9, 1, 13, 6 in this series.

Afghanistan have been a joy to watch of late. Have progressed hugely and in a quicker period of time than any international cricket team around.

when you look at the history of Afghanistan people it isn't really a surprise.

loads of quality pashtuns cricketers out there.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pashtuns
which is india and pakistan is known as pathans
here are famous pathans

Imran Khan
Shahid Afridi
Majid khan
Misbah ul haq
Umar gul
Junaid khan
Younis khan
Yusuf pathan
irfan pathan

Just like pakistan afghanistan has loads of raw cricketers and because it is so close to pakistan and india a lot of the cricketer have played the game.

if anything it is a surprise it took so long for cricket to get into Afghanistan when you considering the close ties it has with Pakistan, the history the local people had with the game.

if you believe pakistani people their always said if you wanna get the best cricketing talent go near the Pakistan/Afghanistan border mountains.

You have to start believing that claim now when you consider how quick afghanistan have risen through the ranks, especially when you consider how raw afghanistan are even in associate level, the batsman are the most flair and attacking, the bowlers are the quickest, their not like Ireland, Scotland where the players are professional, grafting for runs and making the most out of what their have, their literally need to improve loads, batsman needs to improve technique and bowlers need to get the radar right.

I will say the biggest disappointed so far from afghanistan is that their haven't done anything in the ICC events, should qualify for the 2nd stage of the t20 this time.

Mohammed Shazad easily my player of the day; even more so than Munro, Guptil and Elliot.
