I hope footitt comes in for Finn. Woakes bowled ok from what I read on here, but why not have a look at someone who could potentially replace Anderson, when he hangs up his boots?

Plunkett has been called up to replace Finn, who was a late addition to the squad. There are already three pace bowlers in the squad not playing, so maybe they're not impressing.

Do you think the selectors will be looking for a new opener if Hales fails again?

Finn may well be a doubt for the ODI's so Plunkett brought in for cover in that squad also.

He was a bit unlucky not to be picked anyway.

Obviously he won't play on Friday.

I can't see that. Pretty tough to drop him when he's scored more than Cook. Though that happened to Carberry.

Who's next?

Compton opens with Ballance at 3?

Plunkett hasn't done badly against the UAE for England Lions.

Could mean that whoever wins the toss, Cook will open the batting on the first morning.

Plunkett is having a couple of games with the Lions and only coming out at the weekend for the ODIs and 20/20s.

Who are they going to call up to the Lions to replace Plunkett?

If Stephen takes first knock, I want to see Alastair open the bowling :D

So Steyn is out of the last game. England might even be favourites for this. It would have been more interesting with the great bowler back, if only to allow England to measure themselves against a legend.
