Looks like it was going away from Bangladesh but I expect them to take this thanks to Rahman

How is this competition making the competition for NZ, Australia etc look for the WC. Obviously, these are condition specialists who will have an advantage over the visitors. India feel like unbackable favourites.

I think Australia are ranked eighth in T20.

I suppose people will say it depends which Pakistan turns up.
I always say that everybody's right.

The key to this Pakistan team is to keep Mohammed Amir quiet.

Bangladesh next up and a number of them have faced him previously in the BPL. Advantage?

BD beat Pak, so it will be Ind-BD final.
Too many no-balls from Pak at crucial moments.... surprised? Suspicious?

Nope. Mohammad Sami is just a terrible bowler. He'll look good at the start but nearly always lets the team down.

Yet again Pakistan let themselves down by not being able to play as a team. Too many batsmen fail too regularly in all forms of the game.

India must be favourites for the title but Bangladesh have come so far in the last 18 months this and, with such a young team, there will be big expectations.

There are quite a few Pakistan bowlers living a blessed life.

Irfan's haul today should buy him some time but I think Nawaz is on the cusp of being dropped.

Hafeez and Wahab Riaz are on thin ice too.

Wahab Riaz was actually very harshly dropped after only 1 game and actually did quite well in his return game. Irfan has been consistent throughout the tournament. What on earth are you smoking?? Nawaz has been disappointing but I hope the leading wicket taker (whose superior skill is batting by the way) of your recently concluded, fairly competitive domestic T20 league doesn't get dropped after 2 matches. They should give the entire squad a go in the warmups and see how it goes.

Agree on Hafeez though that could be said of most of their batsmen. Sarfraz and Akmal need to bat higher.

Consider Riaz far too profligate.

Seems hopeful we'll get a full game here....seemed unlikely before

Required rate if 8 an over for India.

Seems a big ask.
