SL begin their tour in Chelmsford at 11am with a three day game. Hopefully hand warmers are not in use. Not much expected of the tourists in the early summer Test series. I hope they get off to a good start, and Essex field a strong XI.

This should be a one-sided test series when it gets underway.

Though Moores was in charge then.

They've lost virtually all of their star players.

Weather permitting we should walk this.

the pitches were the reason sri lanka didn't lose and the fact england were not that great on paper either.

The pitches were really flat and slow in the first half of the summer suited the sri lankan players nicely.

They had Sangakkara, and England were at a low. There's enough different to presume predictions of a one sided series will come true this time.

the only hope sri lanka have is they have decent bowlers.
do actually like they seam attack but wouldn't go far has Jaysuriya and say they have the best bowling attack in the world.
think Sri lanka will surprise people with their bowling this summer, they actually have a decent depth in the bowling.

If they bat like they did in NZ, they won't have much to bowl at.

I'm not changing my opinion.
