they do like the all rounder, wonder what Loughbourough says is the best spinner.
Are the all rounder the best available spinners or the best all round package.
Wonder how the likes of Riley r Patel and other rank in the spinners category.
Kerrigan got a decent chance as well but he don't look like the spinner that would do well in India.
Really need an accurate and quick spinner to be the most effective really.
Always question marks on Kerrigan composure when he gets hit.

Kusal Perera named to replace Prasad probably arrive after the 3rd test considering he need to get a visa still and for some pathetic reason it take 15 days to get a visa.

Division two gets a lot of crtiticism for its quality (a poor Test side is sure to get labelled 'Divison 2', at least by Boycott), and for a while now, many of the press have assumed that a player had to get into CC1 to make a claim for a Test spot. Which was a reason Taylor went to Notts. I remember someone at the ECB commenting after KP got the runs Graves suggested he needed to get back in the England side, that you'd think he'd have found a CC1 side...

It feels like a few batters are getting touted without taking that route. With no Lions games, don't players like Westley and B.Drummond have to move up a level with a view to playing for England?

Westley
99 v Sri Lanka
144 v Starc, Hazlewood, Marsh, Siddle, Watson, Lyon
108 v Sri Lanka
Last year he played in Sri Lanka in the Premier Championship

As I said on another thread, Hoppo smashed Stuart Clark and Hilfenhaus for fun a few years back at Hove, but couldn't get a score of more than 20 in a whole season of county cricket.

These are friendlies, they don't mean anything.

Don't suppose it matters who replaces Stokes.

This SL side is pretty ordinary and will probably fold like they did at Headingley.

8-36 for Chris Woakes. Nice to see him in the wickets before the second Test.

Would love to see him have an allrounder game to remember, so we dont have to see the waste of space he is replacing again.

Stokes has at least put in some MOM performances in his short career.
