A 'second string' Indian team buried Zimbabwe today.

KL Rahul very much out himself in the frame for mainstream ODI inclusion.

India will be pleased with their strength in depth with fast bowlers and opening batsmen.

Interesting that India didn't bat first today when it is their rookie batsmen that they are looking to test out.

They have been absolutely thrashed against a second string Indian team.

Pretty sure some associate nations would put up more of a fight than this.

In three matches India has lost only 3 wickets whilst Zimbabwe have lost 30 wickets in 106 overs of batting :no

Those stats tell us everything we need to know about the state of Zimbabwe cricket.

I do a mix of Text commentary and editorial as of now. By the looks of it, I should be doing completely editorial from next month, which I tend to prefer.

Associate? I'm pretty sure some Ranji teams could have made a better fist of this.

Won't have done India's rankings any harm though.

Dhoni's strike rate of 111 was far too low. I think he likes the drama.

This series has thrown up some interesting options but I think, at this time, Rishi Dhawan and Jaydev Undakat are discards.

I genuinely feel the only thing that is keeping Dhoni in the team is that he is captain.

I genuinely feel that the only reason why Dhoni is captain is due to question marks over Kohli's captaincy skills.
