Be jokes if it caused a division in the Pakistan camp heard few days ago players not happy with Inzy because he wanted the warm up game and the players wanted to play against pak A team.
Although not sure it would cause a divide if they doing well, but Pakistani media was reporting this during last week tour game.

Seemed a reasonable, if not full strength Somerset side to me.

Pakistan haven't played a Test outside Asia for three years (Sep, 2013) when they lost to Zimbabwe in Harare!

Last time they beat a top eight side in a Test outside Asia was in 2011 in WI. The only other Test they've won v top eight sides outside Asia since they beat England at the Oval in 2010 during the infamous no ball series, was in NZ, which featured in their only series win outside Asia since 2003 (also in NZ).

Sounds like it is back to normal for the warm up games with journo, players and people essentially wandering what is the whole point of them now.

Have to admit somerset did actually give a better test to pakistan and the team wasn't that bad but this sussex line up is awful and the bowling sounds atrocious.

What sussex fielded was an embarrassment, england can not complain what they get in overseas tours really.

guessing Inzy will be surprised how poor and awful warm up games are compared to his days, the days where warm up games were useful and actually a good test for what coming up is over now.

Sussex played in Cardiff the night before. They only got back to Sussex at 3am. I'm surprised that 5 of that XI even made it into their team for this match.

ECB could have given another team or picked an invitational side.
would have made more sense to pick a team that didn't play a game the day before or if that not possible pick a team that actually plays at home.
ECB could have easily just made sussex play at home the day before the warm up games considering this fixture was decided before ECB gave the county schedule.

Not really a warm up, as it's an ODI. But predictably, Pakistan's game with Ireland is delayed by the weather.

Welcome back to Shoaib Malik, and Umar Gul, who is still only 32. Feels like he's been around for decades.

Never understand why these games aren't on tv

The lions games should be televised as well when they are on

In all the brouhaha over Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Nawaz it is clear to see that Hafeez is in a world of bother at the moment. Azhar Ali is struggling for form too.
