Buttler's back. No Duckett.

My team:
Hales/Roy/Root/Morgan/Buttler/Stokes/Moeen/Woakes/Rashid/Willey/Wood.
Bairstow/Dawson/Jordan/Plunkett

Too many pace bowlers, too few batters in the squad. Not really sure Stokes should be in the eleven.

Is this a 15 player a side series AC or is your claim that maths is a weakness true.

Will Stokes be playing as a batsman or as an all rounder?

Really not sure why they are rushing him back with such a hard winter ahead.

Looks like after the Tour of India at the end of the year, England play 17 Odis, and then the Champions Trophy (plus 2 T20s) before July- and no Tests. Then they play Tests starting in July, but include another 5 match ODI series in late summer.

So in these games the third umpire will call the front foot no balls.

It will be interesting to see if this can work seamlessly. Another small step toward the day when on field umpires are defunct?

Willey is out the series. Big blow for Yorkshire too. Jake Ball steps up.

Has cork ever seen pakistan play an one day game in the past 4 yrs, Pakistan are not a great one day team or white ball team, most of their players are more suited to test and if anything no misbah, younis and then no Asad shafiq because they think he is not a white ball player and then their captain Azhar ali generally struggling with the white ball stuff and is more of a cook type player than a 3 format player.

a reason why they are ranked 9th.
Massive series for pakistan since a 4-0 or 5-0 loss could mean they struggling to automatically qualify for the world cup.
struggling to see how pakistan could win a game though since England are so strong in the white ball stuff.
quite funny how the selectors didn't see this 2 yrs ago lol.

Willey back in the ODI setup after a scan showing no major damage to his hand, might be able to play in the RL Semi Final.
