And rightly so....India should declare with 350 and be fine.

Reckon that India should revert to five bowlers for next Test?

Virat has mentioned that although he prefers 6 + 5 , picking 5 bowlers will not be a pattern.

If we see the scorecard of first test, our 2nd wicket has fallen on 151 in first innings and still to fall with second inning score of 159. So it would not be a big risk to go with 6 + 5 combo. If that happens Rohit will make way for Mishra. imo considering that the top order is doing a decent job and with Ashwin batting at 7, Virat may opt for 5 bowlers at Kolkata.

4 down

Ashwin the second fastest to 200 test wickets :clap

With a lot more test being played in India this season, except him to get to 300 pretty soon.

Clarrie Grimmett remains number one.

Lillee got to 300 in 56 Tests (amazing) so that's the next record. If India play their fair share at home, it's a formality for Ashwin.

That was him peaked as a bowler though, in his mid twenties. FST was the fastest to 300.

I'd prefer Mishra in the side at home. Given how many overs the quicks have bowled there may be a case for only playing 1 seamer but also Rohit is a luxury, but either way we should have 3 spinners.

Rohit seems like he's been around forever, so I was a trifle surprised to see he's only played 18 Tests. I guess it's his ODIs that make it seem that way.
