Some interesting notes on the West Indian bowling in this game.

Rahkeem Cornwall has now got three back to back fivefers in first class cricket and 42 wickets in his last ten games.

Young man named Moti-Kanhai looks very economical.

Seems like Roach is out of his depth even at this level.

Sri Lanka 'A' win by seven wickets....

Roach has not been the same bowler since coming back from injury and surgery. He's lost pace, and can't compensate for it.

Chandrika continues his decline, and we're still waiting for the old Kieran Powell to turn up.

Cornwall is a massive guy in the Dwayne Leverock mold....

Brooks and Singh have put forward their claims to the Test team....

Moti-Kanhai has potential as a spinner, but not as good or experienced as the much-ignored Nikita Miller.

The only changes seem to be Hetmyer in for John Campbell, and Delorn Johnson for the injured Leveridge....

Chandrika makes 51 and retires hurt. Powell out for 29...his poor run on his return continues.

Brooks out for just three, but Hetmyer is out for 48.

A very rare occurrence...a good WI batting performance.

Windies A 509-9 declared...Chandrika 84, Hamilton 99, and Vishal Singh 161.

A massive win by the tourists in the second match. Cornwall took a six for in the first innings and then there were half centuries from chandrika Brooks and Hamilton. All the bowlers then combined to dismiss the hosts for 147.

Interesting to see that, in my opinion, the Sri Lankan Development Team were playing better last month than this A team is now.

Delorn Johnson took four wickets and Rahkeem Cornwall three, to dismiss the hosts for 318, Openers Weerakkody (79) and Kusal Perera (69) taking Sri Lanka A to 133 without loss, before they collapsed. Chandrika went back to normal, out for 11, while Powell failed again, going for eight, but Hetmyer hit 94, and Brooks is 43 not out in the visitors' total of 183-4 at the halfway stage of their four-day match. Vishal Singh is out for 15 this time.

Sri Lanka win the series 2-1....

In their second innings, the hosts declared on 257-6, Gunaratne topscoring with 69, and Cornwall taking a four-fer. Vandersay then took 6-47 to rout the tourists for a mere 194 all out, Brooks hitting 46 and Powell 44, but there was not much else to talk about.
