Pace bowling by Pak was very good today. Spin bowling was average but they let Hafeez and Shoaib get away with cheap overs. Imad also choked them with wickets.

Hafeez was getting a lot of stick on cricinfo for slow scoring early on ...but he seems to be steering Pakistan into a good position at 87/1 from 22.
Required run rate may be edging up ; but it's hardly getting out of hand . You'd think if they keep wickets in hand they should be able to hunt this down without too much drama .

Imad has always been a non spinning spinner but the Australians didn't seem to know how to play him.

Lynn and Mitchell marsh out of the series with injury i think.
