india were on course for a big lead.
Basically that england been struggling at some time on flatter decks home or away for a while.

No they didn't India almost lost the trent bridge test, you were 160-6 or something and just 100 in front with lots of overs left before a big lower order partnership

Well I might be wrong then, why did people attack me in the pakistan series then for just giving my opinions or again in the bangladesh series.
not sure any of you are actually self deprecating.
only really Aiden and sometimes arthur do it.

Well england nearly lost on day 3.
I was there england were struggling at 197/5 or 202/6

actually quite laughable to claim england were not struggling in this test match.
Anyway happy to concede that both teams nearly lost.

I didn't say england weren't struggling

You did say india dominated though which is very wrong as you almost lost which is what I was pointing out but yet again you miss the point completely and claim what I said is laughable when I was right and it was what you said that was laughable

India didn't dominate the test, you conceded a first innings lead and got within a couple of wickets of losing

Wasn't you anyway was starting to get annoyed about the toss way before that think it was yuppie and the annoying stat of 18 consecutive toss wins by Asian sides and then the supposedly correlation to results.
started to appear in mainstream media and it was really starting to getting annoying people acting like you win the toss and you win the game.

Anyway like people said today on twitter the myth about the toss finally dies.

ok but you can't deny india were happy with the draw and got confidence from that, because I was certainly confident from what I saw in trent bridge that india could win a game in the tour and they did in the next game.

I have to agree that the England attack is not great on flat pitches. Give them a little help then Anderson et al can exploit it, but we don't have bowlers who can take the pitch out of the equation. Like most players they are a product of their climate.

I think we all agree that england aren't great on flat wickets

We have to hope stokes and Woakes can progress into top bowlers

Just like broad and jimmy did

I'd like to see mark wood given a chance when jimmy hangs up his boots that extra pace is something we could do with

So i had an opinion on something and you just repeated your views on it non stop.

I said a statement looking for a discussion. The board then got non stop posts from you with your view.

Seriously when you are online bhaveshgor i don't post. There is no discussion, just you arguing your point until everyone else just leaves you to talk to yourself. And even then you don't stop.

This board is amazing, so much knowledge from so many posters, with so many different views.

And again im off topic for this thread.

Stuff it im off to the adults only section.

Why would you be upset about a comment i have made? I am not personally attacking you, or anyone.

I was discussing a point that has come up in conversation. I really can not understand why something like that would upset anyone. I have not insulted you. I'm trying to have a discussion on a cricket board.

At this rate i think i will actually turn of my computer and start speaking to my wife again. Specially since it seems no one really posts in the Adults Only section.

Three reasons why we lost this series:

1. Poor catching in the field
2. Poor batting against spin
3. The form of Kohli at home.
