Suppose Splinters think England are a poor team for always losing from favourable situation then.

Well you clearly hate Bangladesh cricket then or in General Subcontinent teams.
Well they just scored 550 odd runs against NZ and gave NZ a game in NZ.
Wonder what the results were like for Bangladesh in 5-6 yrs oh yeah innings defeats so already that is a massive improvement.

The fact they taken NZ to the 5th day already means they are not whipping boys anymore considering that phrase basically means you can thrash bangladesh by a innings or very easily in couple days times.

anyway big loss for bangladesh.
Rahim might be out of the 2nd test because of a finger injury/ or missing game from doctor advise.

Also should be noted it is bangladesh first Test series outside Asia/WI since 2010.

7 yrs since they last played outside Asian conditions.

Shame he's not fit to play. But at least no damage done from the head injury.

That's BD's first score of over 400 outside Asia, so it's new ground for them. And it featured their highest individual score.

Or maybe, I'm just a realist who doesn't think a single Test win and a single innings really mean all that much in the grand scheme of things.

big challenge for Ban here with Mushfiqur, Kayes and Mominum all ruled out - is the fizz also injured because he's not in the side?

Bangladesh though are going at a handy scoring rate though. 70 run partnership in 12 overs.

Crazy scoring rate. Just don't know what's going off out there.

Going to be a decent morning for BD in the end.

I presume Santner is picked for NZ to be a bowler who can bat a bit.

Wonder why Kane did not give him any overs?
