I accept BD don't have any experienced pace bowlers.

Kamrul strikes with his first ball!

Average 41!

Well done to Shak on his BD record.

How often have Bangladesh declared in their first innings?

Genuinely unsure where this is going to go now.

New Zealand still have Latham at the crease and Watling yet to come. Those two could dominate and bury Bangladesh.

On the other hand Bangladesh could get those two out early doors tomorrow and could exploit New Zealand's variable bowlers and bring them back in it.

As it stands you'd have to put the draw as the most likely result.

just 2 days left but will get the extra 8 overs each day to help make up for the time lost

with NZ still 300 behind its hard to see how they can possibly win the game in the time left, bangladesh have a chance but would probably need to be able to enforce the follow-on so 100 or so more runs for NZ at the start of day 4 and it looks a cast iron draw

If I had a pound I'd put in on a draw.

More time will be lost.

Pitch isn't likely to allow for any craziness on the last day.

What the heck is Grandhomme playing at?

New Zealand need to get past the follow on then bat time on a dead pitch, coming out an attacking like that was beyond stupid.

And, out. Really good knock despite the dead pitch and less than lauded attack, he's seen New Zealand past the follow on and all but guaranteed a draw.

This has been the sort of draw stereotypically imagined to be the province of the subcon in the 1990s.

Mainly going to check in the morning if NZ-Mitch gets his first Test ton. But also wonder if NZ might declare before the close and see if they can get on a run with the ball.

They may get bowled out, but those possibilities currently feel more likely.

Still struggling to see how NZ have prepared such a dead pitch for BD to play on. Surely you would be preparing wickets that seam and swing all over the place if you play BD?
