There is no hate. Just aware of the fact that he could not make use of opportunities presented to him by selectors in shorter formats and we could have used warmups to look at Nathu Singh for one match atleast. Why play those who are not going to make squad now.

Adi that make sense.
No idea why nehra, dinda, v Kumar etc are in the team.
End of the day can't see any of the bowler from the pace men making a case in the warm up.
Although kuldeep yadav will be.

There is no difference between performance of Dinda when Saurav picked him in team last decade and performance nowadays. Imagine if Harby had played today and takes 5 fer. Do we go back selecting him and ignore his long failure. Luckily Kuldeep and Yuzvendra were tried. Same has to happen in fast bowling. Should show some faith in new pacers as well. Only 8 matches left for CT i think. Could have also tried Sandeep Sharma to see if he could exploit English conditions much better.

Actually only 3 odi before the Champions trophy.
Suspect the Selectors are going to use the IPL to pick the bowlers for the Champions trophy.

Suspect they want to give Sandeep Sharma, Nathu singh etc a rest after a gruelling ranji season before the white ball stuff begin.

Just putting this on record....I think England will win the ODI series.

England's attack is too weak, or at least unproven, or a work in progress. Their spinners can't shut up shop. When India get a good start, they'll just take off, vertically. On the other hand, the England batters will be able to chase if India's batters falter. But 3-0 feels the most sensible prediction.

Even if he was free Anderson wouldn't get selected. :) Not played a 20/20 since 09 and his ODI figures in India are terrible.
I wonder if Broad will put his name forward this year now he has got his confidence back in the BB.
Finn has a good record out there but I don't think anyone will be interested .

Not really think india 2-1 or england 2-1 feel more sensible.
first time I can't actually say for sure or be so confident on a result since both team can easily win or lose here.
India not that strong in odi anymore even at home, think I read yesterday that india won't win the odi series unless they slow down the pitches since in these pitch england batting depth is so much better and india didn't have the bowlers in the warm up games to restrict the batting.
Although Ashwin/jadeja will change things.
At the moment would say england got the better batting line up and depth with india having the better bowlers.

Should be a very good series since both team are evenly matched.

Mishra's an ok ODI bowler. Might be worth playing a leg spinner against the England middle order.

Maybe the sides are close enough for the toss to decide the games, but take the toss out of it, the sides are also close enough for home advantage to be decisive- unless India dial up some quicker pitches in order to prepare for the CT.

England have only ever won one ODI series in India. Thirty years ago.

I thought you proved Anderson was England's best fifty over end of innings bowler? That'll count for something in T20. Maybe his lack of popularity in India might be a factor.

Sam attributes his match winning knock to Rahul as well as his experience in IPL.

Sheldon Jackson? Sounds like a character out of a sixties Neil Simon comedy.
