98-6 dismal effort from WI, they had a very real shout of chasing this, if they actually bothered to bat sensibly and thoughtfully

Holder and Chase together now. This is their only chance to save the game.

IMO too much time to bat for these too, particuarly Holder...least windies have been compeitive to a certain degree in this series..

It's deja vu all over again...a good fightback by the usual suspects.

Tea 146-6

Chase 66*

Holder 22*

Any point in just asking Jason not to see himself as a bowler for a while and bat in the middle order?

Is there any point in expecting the WI selectors to do anything logical?
:horse
Holder out for 22...no worse than what Kraigg, Powell, Shai, Singh and Dowrich have done this series.

I would send a 16-man squad to England:

1) Kraigg Brathwaite
2) Kieran Powell - on probation
3) Shai Hope - on probation
4) Roston Chase
5) Jermaine Blackwood
6) Jason Holder - promote him, because he finishes not out, and he bats better than most of our specialist bats!
7) Shane Dowrich - on probation
8 ) Nikita Miller - deserves another chance, and English wickets can get dry in August
9) Dev Bishoo
10) Alzarri Joseph
11) Shannon Gabriel

12) Kyle Hope/Jason Mohammed
13) Sunil Ambris/Jahmar Hamilton
14) Kemar Roach
15) Jerome Taylor
16) Shimron Hetmyer - mainly to play in the warmup matches to get experience of batting on English pitches in English conditions. NOT TO BE PLAYED IN TESTS EXCEPT IF ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!

Four overs to bat, and these two have batted for 4.4 overs, so halfway there.
