The first of the two additional T20Is will be played on Sunday, March 26 at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

The series then moves to the Queen’s Park Oval in the Trinidad & Tobago capital of Port of Spain, where they will now be three T20Is instead of the originally carded two.

The matches will now be contested on Thursday, March 30, a public holiday, and will be followed by matches on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2.

mike is there a reason why odi and T20 are normally held in the same island in the west indies.
it is quite annoying to see the same place hold the same games.

Laziness and penny-pinching by the WICB...playing all three ODIs in Guyana makes no sense, and will ensure that hardly any crowds turn up. But it saves the WICB money in terms of flying players to another island.

Ideally, they should be playing a T20 and an ODI in Guyana, and a T20 and an ODI in Trinidad, but that would be too logistically difficult for those in the WICB hierarchy, and would cost them too much money, so screw the spectators....

Thanks to the Chinese, who built many of the stadiums before the 2007 World Cup, there are....

Sabina Park, upgraded by the Chinese - Kingston, Jamaica
Greenfields, built by the Chinese - Trelawny, Jamaica (incidentally, right next to the tourist resorts!)
Queen's Park Oval - Port of Spain, Trinidad
Providence, built by the Chinese - Guyana
Bourda, now only used for club matches - Guyana
Kensington Oval, upgraded by the Chinese - Bridgetown, Barbados
Darren Sammy stadium, built by the Chinese - Beausejour, St Lucia
St Georges, Grenada
Arnos Vale, St Vincent
Roseau, Dominica
Viv Richards statium, built by the Chinese - North Sound, Antigua
ARG, now only used for club matches - St John's, Antigua
Stanford, now used for 50-overs matches - Coolidge, Antigua
Warner Park, St Kitts

All except for Bourda and ARG are used for regional cricket. So, there are a lot of options for the WICB. There's no excuse...except penny-pinching.

basically 10.
think the aim is for each island to only have one stadium for internationals.
could rotate the games way better than they do now.
Tri series odi would work really well in the Caribbean.
island could have back to back games and the players feel like they travelling around the region.

Fans would enjoy it as well by taking boats across the islands.

All sensible suggestions, bhavesh...which is why the WICB won't adopt them.

Instead of hosting one T20 in Barbados, and three in Trinidad, they could've staged two in Barbados, and two in Trinidad.

But logic escapes the WICB....

Pakistan have decided not to recall Butt. I would say well done, but the fact that they are even thinking about recalling a player who as Captain lead a spot fixing ring in the side is beyond the pale.
