A couple of years ago Yuvraj was seemingly heading for retirement now he's looking a dangerous player again. This when an attack based upon pace struggles as the ball gets older and softer. Will be better in English conditions but an economical spinner such as Tredwell.

Yuvraj is playing brilliantly today. They haven't exactly raced away ; but they're looking pretty solid after those early setbacks , and we know how many runs can be made in those late overs.

Moeen is doing a pretty good job so far. A wicket would be nice : but I think they're prepared to bide their time and wait for the bad ball at the moment.

When will Nasser stop saying Woakes has put on a yard of pace in the last 12 months, I reckon two years from now. The fact that Woakes put on the extra pace about 3 years ago hasn't got through to these pundits who rarely watch CC cricket.

Looks like a pitch on which you'd want well over 300 so still a lot of work left for India . But these two are playing so well that the last ten overs are looming as quite an ordeal for the fielding team.

you got to feel for Yuvraj though, his illness did restrict his cricket during peak years.
Nice to finally have him back like the old yuvi though had a few bad ICC tournaments after illness.
