There's one wicket ! Nice catch Stokes ...Rahul on his way early...

Of course the downside is Kohli now has potentially 47 overs to bat :)

Woakes getting wickets good for England but very important for Woakes who's not seen much in the wicket column this winter.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Djokovic losing in the tennis to a nobody or us getting Kohli out for a low score

Have to say I don't altogether agree with Nasser about the need for England's bowlers to pull their lengths back...

Yes they'll be driven. They'll concede boundaries ; and eventually they'll need to get a bit shorter. But on a pitch where anything may be scored surely it is better to risk a few early fours in hopes of grabbing a couple of edges ? Not just saying this because they got Kohli with a full ball : I always believe the precious opening overs while the ball swings should be used to attack.

Third strike ! Woakes again :clap

When will Nasser stop saying Woakes has put on a yard of pace in the last 12 months, I reckon two years from now. The fact that Woakes put on the extra pace about 3 years ago hasn't got through to these pundits who rarely watch CC cricket.

yeah it annoys me too when they keep referring to a player's reputation from years previously that doesn't apply any more

England going into this game with an attack of medium fast bowlers and an offie is giving me flashbacks.

Think some of them are a bit more than "medium fast" , to be fair.

Be nice to have a 95mph swing bowler and accurate wrist spinner , but you have to work with what you've got.

Actually "won" the first round with those three early wickets - as they did a few days ago ! But this part of the game is where it will probably be won and lost : at the end whoever is in will be swinging at everything so they really need to force errors and ensure there aren't wickets left at the end ; restrict the run rate ; or both. Something England seem to have a lot of trouble doing. Suspect Moeen is the key here. If he can deliver a string of tight overs - he has started well - they'll be well on the way...

Good fifty for Yuvraj :clap India needed that.

It's just pace on the ball all the time with no sideways movement. Fast-medium.

It's the repetitive nature of a trip to India. They always come back having learned the same lessons.

Still, the toss is a big advantage so England should be able to chase what they're set.
