Can't recall hearing Chahal's name before. But he played the ODIs in Zimbabwe, so I must have glanced at it.

It will be Pant's international debut, if he plays.

Mandeep has just played the T20s in Zimbabwe.

Apparently Jordan was injured in Australia, but I don't know if he is available in India. He, and Topley as well as Broad, are names being mentioned after the bowlers were expensive in the ODIs. Topley should be in the picture if fit, but I don't see the benefit of gong back to other known failures in limited overs cricket. Mark Wood might be handy if fit.

Chahal played in the first warm up game.
also been quite successful with Royal challengers banglore.

Chris Jordan was fielding at third man as backup for Willey in last ODI yesterday.

Topley has another long term injury, so he is out of the picture for a while, for me Wood is the key if he can stay fit

Pant has really been pushing on the door for an international call-up - looks like a real prospect for the future and could well be the man to take the gloves off Dhoni. Will be interesting to see if he plays and whether Dhoni plays. Given that Dhoni does not play tests he probably needs to play as much as he can in ODI and T20s to stay sharp, but then we also need to give Pant an opportunity.

Mandeep has not really kicked on tbh, but I've never really seen him as a T20 player. Given the form of Kedhar Jadhav we should really have made sure he was in the side but he's not even in the squad!

rashid really fallen out of favour quickly if thats true

dont like saying "i told you so", well thats a lie, i do, but after seeing how cook used him in the tests and morgan's reluctance to bowl him in the first ODI then it doesn't surprise me to see him being badly treated
