When England won 1st T20 i thought it was going to be very tough for us to win series. Well played Tema India. England didn't cash on the momentum.

It's been a disastrous winter and it's not over yet.

We have to go over to the WIs and get walloped there yet.

If England was a small child, Social Services would have stepped in long ago to prevent the repeated beatings.

If they were playing in Russia, India would only get a fine

Rashid could have done more today considering the indian leggies took 7 wickets between them and bowled all 8 overs.

But the West Indies are mediocre.

Probably not the time to say it, but England's white ball cricket still remains much improved, and over the two formats, it was better than we've come to expect in India. Really not the time to make big changes.

Oh the shame.

I've never been this embarrassed since a neighbour spotted me in WH Smith's looking at a copy of the Daily Mail.

Oh!

Things were better when Root was in then...

Root started this debacle by losing his wicket immediately after Morgan, he should surely know that his wicket doubled in value with a new batsman just arrived. It always surprises me how one wicket seems automatically bring a second when the surviving batsman must know staying in is his top priority. I must admit to not seeing his dismissal but unless it was a jaffer of a delivery he blundered.

At least this news will be buried under the weight of Trump headlines.

Impressive collapse by England today, takes some skill to manage achieve that level of middle order incompetence.

That said, one heavy loss doesn't mean that in the grand scale of things England haven't made huge improvements in the white ball format.

there are very depths that England would struggle to leave unplumbed
