Cummins and Starc made a terrific late attempt but it was just a little too much to do...

Australia just lost wickets in bunches too often then. Well done NZ :clap

Australia loose their number 1 ranking, and that is 7 of the last 8 away games that they have lost. Thankfully the rain saved their blushes in the last match otherwise it would have been 2 clean sweeps of away looses.

Australia no longer has the depth it once had. Could have done much worse than take Cameron White to NZ.

They still have it for the moment, South Africa need to win both matches v Sri Lanka to take top spot.

I think any side would struggle losing their two best batsmen for a series, and Warner / Smith by far the best batsmen in the side.
