Taylor usually slows things down. Big wicket for Marcus to get KW.

he is one of those really strange selections you see sometimes, his domestic figures are really underwhelming but for some reason he has been in and around the international setup for a little while now

Another for Marcus. Reminds me a bit of Mark Ealham.

Kiwis were looking like they were just trying to not lose wickets in the last five overs, and they ended up losing two.

Ironic song choice from the ground announcer/dj?

As NZ slow down even further on comes on a 'tween over song by Australia Crawl.

You probably would've heard, then, Smith tell us - most vehemently - that kiwis wickets are as fast as anywhere in the world these days.

I wish I had time to listen to more gems.

Seriously Ian smith said that, probably confused with the small boundaries and the ball going to the boundaries quicker because of the short distance.
Lol nz quick, no country wickets are quick apart from a few in SA, brisbane and maybe old Trafford.
Australia only got one stadium that is class quick, SA two the rest are either slow or average.

standard of umpiring from the t20 earlier carrying forward here

that was a weird decision to give that out when no-one even really appealed

broom was given out by the onfield umpire despite there being no obvious appeal

broom reviewed it and it was overturned

Selection of umpires are poor consider one is a New Zealand local and the other a Sri Lankan that is hardly recognisable.
2 inexperienced umpires.
