i know its a fairly small sample size and includes a few warmups but Buttler's on a pretty poor run

really need him firing for when the CT comes around

"if fit" are the keys words in that AC and gven his history over the last couple of years i wouldn't be holding my breath

we usually see one "panic" selection before a major tournament, wonder if it will be Broad this time around

And Moeen could do with a good run with the bat.

Crazy! A few years ago I watched a test between Australia and the west indies at Kensington Oval. On the fourth day I paid US $10 for the fourth day and US $5 for the fifth day.

England matches are way over priced.

Cornwall must have skipped a few fitness sessions.

Doesn't have to worry about anyone borrowing his kit.

I looked up Dwayne Leverock on wiki and it says he was 20 stone (not saying he's dead, just when he was playing) but says Warwick Armstrong, the Aussie all rounder of the Edwardian era, and post WWI skipper, weighed 22 stone.

But as they used to say, you don't get cricket fit by working out in the gym and doing shuttles, you do it by sending down an over of medium pace in the nets and then spending the rest of the day rehydrating.

Imagine how Andy Flower would feel confronted by Cornwall, Leverock, Armstrong and Kleinveldt at early morning parade or a calliper debrief.

Cornwall today: 10-1-31-1 and 59!

England on their berry and seed Ashes Mitchwash: 0-5.

Maybe they need to swap fitness programmes.
