A series win for Afghanistan.

David Lloyd has been tweeting next to the scores all day. Quite apart from the frequency of them (I know) he seems to be on a quest for global antagonism.

Where is Zimbabwe cricket seriously headed?

To be bowled out by an associate team for 54 is just crazy. The ICC trying to remove permanent membership because of Zimbabwe?

This match ruined by the weather. How does a target of 250 become 160 in 22 overs?

that actually seems fair.
160 from 22 overs looks about right for a total that was 250 from 50 overs.
should be remembered if less overs in game, the required run rate should be higher than the original asking rate to make it fair.
7.27 is still probably a total still in the chasing team advantage in a rain reduce game, so zimbabwe should have done way better today.
although the rain could have changed the conditions and made it more bowling friendly.

Yes, I agree, looks about right. It never looks fair when you have a team involved though. And shortening the length of the chase will suit some sides more than others. But they look about equivalent. 250 is a middle range 50 over score. Take two overs and fifteen runs off that 160 and you've got 145 off 20, a middle range T20 score. It's never going to be ideal.
